 | PerfectScript FAQ How do I automate a start-up macro?
Have you ever had the need to automate opening a WordPerfect® file and immediately execute a macro? Well now you can do it quickly and easily through the use of a shortcut icon on your desktop! Just follow these simple steps:
1.Right-click on your desktop
2.From the pop up menu, select New Shortcut
3.In the command line box, enter the path and name of the application you want to startup, a space, the filename of the file you want to open, another space, then "/m-" followed by the name of the Macro you want to run.
For example, if you wanted WordPerfect to automatically start and open the file, "abc.wpd", and then execute a macro called test.wcm, the command line would look something like this:
C:\Corel\Suite8\Programs\WPWIN8.EXE abc.wpd /m-C:\myMacros\test.wcm
4.Click the Next button.
5.Change the name of the shortcut to what you want to call it
6.Click the Finish button
Now simply double-click the icon and the process should be automated for you.
