 | PerfectScript FAQ How do I enable/disable the ''document contains macro'' dialog?
The information in this document applies to: WordPerfect® 9 for Windows®
The dialog window that warns when opening a file with which "contains PerfectScript Macros" can be enabled or diabled with a registry value. This can be useful to the user that has checked the box to "Do not show this message again" but has since changed their mind or to the network administrator that wants to make the change globally on a number of machines.
Change the value of the Contains Script key to "2" to disable the warning dialog or "1" to enable the warning dialog.
Note: the registry should be backed up before hand:
To back up the registry file manually,
1. Click Start | Run.
2. Specify REGEDIT.EXE
3. Click My computer to select it.
4. Click Registry | Export Registry File.
5. Specify a filename.
To restore the registry using an existing .REG file,
1. Click Start | Run.
2. Specify REGEDIT.EXE
3. Click My computer to select it.
4. Click Registry | Import Registry File.
5. Specify a filename.
In the registry Editor window, click on the plus sign next to HKey_Current_User, then Software, then Corel, then WordPerfect, then 9, then on the HideDialogs folder. On the right side of the window, double-click "Contains Script". Set it to "2" to disable the warning dialog or "1" to enable the warning dialog.
